Description
I thought I'd put this up here, not because I consider it a significant achievement for me but just because I happen to like it.
More incidental sketches turned colour tests. I REALLY like drawing/colouring this style. Also, if I ever get comics up and running they'll probably be drawn in this style too. It's quick, fun to do, and a nicer substitute for black and white art. And it doesn't take as RIDICULOUS long as full detail colour- by my estimates I'd only be able to do a couple of pages a week in full detail colour, not to mention the expense. But with this style I can produce a lot more, far more reliably.
I intended for each character to have a different lighting effect on them, so I could test myself on how versatile I could get the lighting to be just in this style. As a shading technique it still proves more versatile than cell-shading, and other black and white methods.
AS for the content, well. I'm depicting these guys in darker moments once more. The more I analyse them, the less happy it all gets...
Crash Bandicoot belongs to Activision.
